Dinning is always a special event at Highland Healthcare Center. Appetizing, tasty, well-balanced entrees are graciously served buffet style.

Guests may choose their meal from a “Resident Council Approved” menu that includes 2 main entrée choices for both the lunch and dinner meals, as well as soup of the day with sandwich.

Guests are encouraged to dine in our cheerful dinning rooms with their friends. Room service is available if requested. Breakfast is served in bed.

Special therapeutic diets are provided as prescribed by each guest’s attending physician and supervised by a Dietician. Each selection is served with extra touches that add taste and visual appeal. All meals are prepared in our kitchen, most from scratch, using fresh, natural ingredients. Clinical staff assists in each dinning area to ensure all residents are satisfied with their meal.

At lunch and dinner, daily, a salad cart arrives in each dinning room. The residents are assisted to choose items from the salad bar that they would like to eat. After the entrée is served, which they also choose from our steam table, the dessert cart arrives. Wonderful desserts are arranged on the cart for the residents to choose from.

Our meal service is complete with linens and china. Our residents deserve the best. We strive to make them feel that they are dinning in a fine restaurant everyday.

Family members may also enjoy sharing a meal in our facility. Advanced ordering of guest meals is appreciated. Nominal fees are charged and may be paid at the Reception Desk or Business Office.

Each unit also houses a kitchenette, which ensures constant availability of beverages and refreshments. Delicious snacks are provided and available at any time of the day or night for residents. Families may assist residents with snacks at any time.

Holiday meals are celebrated with festive traditions. Special meals such as the Sweetheart Luncheon, Mothers Day Breakfast, Chicken Barbeque and others become regular social events each year.
