The staff of the Highland Healthcare Center is aware that an admission to a health care center is often unexpected, hurried and emotional. Our professionals are ready to provide you with as much information as you need to help you make an informed decision about the most appropriate care and services you or your loved one requires.

Our staff works closely with hospital discharge planners and home care agencies as they assist you through the health care continuum. Prior to admission, our Admissions Coordinator evaluates each potential resident’s care needs in order to place each resident in the most appropriate setting. She will also assist you in completing the required admission application.

Both private and shared accommodations are available. Special care is taken to ensure roommate compatibility.

We will assist each guest in achieving their highest level of functioning and in meeting all discharge goals. We can assist you in understanding the process of applying for Medicaid or in paying for placement in a skilled facility.
